The Bird Compact Pro Bulb has been specially designed to provide captive birds with an artificial yet essential source of ultraviolet (UV) light.
Using a light source that mimics the UV content of the sun offers many benefits, including better health, and allows birds to perceive their environment as they would in the wild. This lamp promotes natural behaviour and often better reproduction.
Unlike standard fluorescent lamps, the Bird Compact Pro Lamp uses UV-emitting phosphors to mimic the sun's spectral distribution. 12% of the total output is emitted as UVA and 2.4% as UVB.

Instructions for use:
2-3 spoonfuls (40-120 g) per kg of feed.
The Cardy seed is rich in protein and linoleic acid, which helps reduce cholesterol levels and therefore decreases the risk of heart disease. It is found in mixes for budgerigars and parrots, but also for native birds such as bullfinches.
Cardy seeds are high in fat. The amino acid proportions of the seed are very favourable, with a very high arginine content. The seed is low in lysine and methionine + cystine, while tryptophan is completely lacking.

It is important to take action with the breeders:
1) by strengthening the immune system,
2) by targeting intestinal pathogenic bacteria.
Instructions for use:
30-40 g (3-4 spoonfuls) per kg of feed during the chick feeding period and for 5-7 days
once a month throughout the year for all breeders.
