Period of moulting
This mixture is specially tuned during the moulting period. It ensures a good moult and a perfect immune system against the many problems during this period. It also contains herbs to enhance the color. This blend contains no less than 40 different herbs.
Mixing the seeds to germinate.
A unique blend of no less than 41 different seeds. All of these seeds germinate together in at least 24 hours with the right treatment. These seeds are specially sorted which, due to the germination process, provides additional vitamins, protein, and easily digestible fiber, which is very important for young birds because the germinated seed is easier to digest. Adding seeds to your eggs is a huge enrichment for birds and their young. Sprouted seeds also strengthen the immune system.
Premium mix for Agapornis and other parakeet species.
Cardi seed is rich in protein and linoleic acid, which helps lower cholesterol levels and therefore reduce heart disease. It is found in parakeet and parrot mixes but also in native birds such as bullfinches.
Cardi seeds are high in fat. The amino acid proportions of the seed are very favourable, the arginine content is very high. The seed is low in lysine and methionine + cystine, while tryptophan is completely lacking.
