The elevation of metabolism and the substantial effort of the pigeon in flight produce a lot of waste. The removal of urea, uric and phosphoric acid, lactic and carbonic acid mainly leads to the consumption of sodium ions. The removal therefore depends on the amount of these ions available to the pigeon. Theft also results in significant water loss. Vitamin E 50,000 mg, Selenium (sodium selenite) 50 mg.
