Oatmeal or peeled oats are used in the composition of the basic mixtures of canaries and hooked beaks especially during the breeding and feeding period.
Its protein level is quite low, but it is a seed rich in energy.

The flaxseed consists of 40 to 45% oil and 25% protein. Flaxseed preserves very well. It contains, in particular, two fatty acids with similar names (both derived from the word "lin"), linolenic acid (an omega-3) and linoleic acid.
The seed is used in animal feed, particularly for laying hens for which an increase in the omega-3 content of the eggs is desired.
Due to these properties, this seed aids digestion.
These seeds rich in fat and protein are especially appreciated by wild birds. They will attract sizerins, finches, goldfinches, black-capped, sparrows, mourning doves and a host of other birds to your garden. It is often used as a replacement for the shuttle, which is more expensive.

Seed Mix, Herb & Bird Mix:
I concocted this unique blend because many mixes contain seeds that are unnecessary, but also have a detrimental effect on the health of goldfinches. Many mixes contain seeds, also for value for money, which is not good for goldfinches. This way, you end up with a cheaper mix, but totally disproportionate to your bird's health. Take cheap rapeseed for example, which actually causes liver problems in goldfinches! Or the black seed, an oilseed that birds like to eat, but is totally unsuitable due to its high fat content, which causes problems for goldfinches.
Mixing the seeds to germinate.
A unique blend of no less than 41 different seeds. All of these seeds germinate together in at least 24 hours with the right treatment. These seeds are specially sorted which, due to the germination process, provides additional vitamins, protein, and easily digestible fiber, which is very important for young birds because the germinated seed is easier to digest. Adding seeds to your eggs is a huge enrichment for birds and their young. Sprouted seeds also strengthen the immune system.
