Deluxe Egg Pâté: 14.2% PROTEIN

A ready-to-use bulk egg mix with many extras !!!!!!

Numerous factors influence the breeding period and egg production. Therefore, we provide our birds with soft food containing the necessary ingredients during the breeding season.

I will explain below why I added certain ingredients to my egg dish, and especially the importance of fiber !

I have developed this mixture to create a well-balanced egg mash composed of many different ingredients. It is also important that the protein value does not become too high. People often add extra peas and animal proteins, such as small fingers, to the egg food. This is of course very good, provided that the quantity of egg food is halved. A protein value between 14 and 27% is suitable.

Calcium carbonate: it is necessary for eggshells.

Vitamin D: This vitamin is necessary for calcium absorption. Birds that do not stay outside need this extra vitamin because indoor birds cannot utilize this vitamin by themselves.

Vitamin A: improves embryo survival.

Vitamin E: improves fertility.

Selenium: to prevent laying problems.

Cellulose: stimulates intestinal development.

Inulin: made from chicory root, is a soluble dietary fiber that promotes healthy digestion. This fiber has a pleasant and sweet taste, making it enjoyable to eat.

Bee pollen: superfood for birds. Contains vitamins A, B, C, D, E, K. Pollen is rich in minerals: calcium, potassium, sulfur, silica, zinc, magnesium, iron, copper, iodine. It increases vitality, promotes fertility, strengthens the immune system, aids digestion, and provides more energy to birds.

Prebiotics: These are soluble dietary fibers of plant origin (inulin, beta-glucans, fructo-oligosaccharides, pectin). They serve as a food source for the good bacteria in the intestines, but the fibers also absorb moisture from the intestines, thus preventing diarrhea. This is very important, especially in young birds, to prevent nest mortality. It helps keep nests dry.

Intestinal disorders are the leading cause of mortality in nests!!! 50% of this is due to infections, but the remaining 50% is due to a lack of dietary fiber!!!

Probiotics: living microorganisms that promote the health of birds. They inhibit undesirable bacteria such as E.coli, prevents diarrhea caused by rotaviruses and salmonella, supports the immune system, and reduces the effects of fungi.

Amino acids: these various nutrients are the building blocks for the formation of proteins. The body cannot produce some of these amino acids on its own, which we call essential amino acids, with lysine and methionine being particularly essential. A deficiency in methionine causes small litters, while a deficiency in lysine leads to growth retardation in young individuals and poor resistance.

Additional proteins: Proteins are necessary for building the body. Chicken egg proteins contain all the essential amino acids in sufficient quantities. Why add additional proteins ?

The high percentage of fats in chicken eggs increases the risk of intestinal disorders, whereas the additional proteins I have added are low in fats and thus easy to digest. They also provide the complete amino acid profile for perfect growth in young ones.

Added proteins of plant and animal origin:

Rice powder: composed of 80% protein and easy to digest.

Hemp powder: 50% protein, defatted and contains all essential amino acids. Hemp is incredibly nutritious.

Pumpkin seed powder: defatted powder composed of 65% protein, rich in fiber, vitamins, and trace elements such as selenium.

Sunflower seed powder: defatted powder with 46% protein. It is rich in methionine, which is the most important amino acid for egg production.

Spelt flour: contains 15% protein, contains more fiber, and is richer in nutrients than regular wheat.

Corn flour: contains 9% protein, gives the boy a boost of energy.

Buckwheat flour: contains 13% protein, composed of various amino acids. It also contains vitamin B and various minerals.

Pea powder: 50% protein, super healthy proteins for birds!!!

Chickpeas: contain a lot of protein (21%), fiber, and minerals. Thanks to the fiber, they stimulate the digestion of young birds. They also contain vitamin E.

Yellow flax protein powder: composed of 33% protein, a source of omega 3, contains various B vitamins, and is very rich in easily digestible minerals and dietary fibers.

Milk thistle seed powder: thistle seeds, the food of the goldfinch, for example, contains silymarin which neutralizes toxins. Additionally, it has a positive effect on the liver and digestion, particularly in cases of fatty liver disease, which often occurs during and after the breeding season due to a diet containing too much egg food. (That's why I always recommend 1 part egg food and 3 parts germination seeds!!!).

Silkworms: Dried silkworm pupae flour is a natural, high-quality food source, rich in high-quality protein (51%) and low in fat. It also contains good amounts of calcium.

Ant eggs: contain a high proportion of animal proteins.

Chicken egg: protein value of 13%, contains all essential amino acids.

Brewer's yeast: a food source for good bacteria (probiotics). It contains many B-group vitamins and minerals. Selenium promotes fertility. The B vitamin group improves embryo survival rates. It helps female dogs digest young birds. It promotes the growth of young birds. And it supports the molting period.

Quinoa flour: Rich in amino acids, proteins (14%), and vitamins.

Almonds: rich in fiber, protein (21%), vitamins, and minerals.

Lupin flour: lupin flour has a protein content of at least 43% and contains many easily digestible fibers.

Sorghum flour: Sorghum flour is not only rich in protein (9%), but it also contains numerous vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
