I concocted this unique blend because many mixes contain seeds that are unnecessary, but also have a detrimental effect on the health of goldfinches. Many mixes contain seeds, also for value for money, which is not good for goldfinches. This way, you end up with a cheaper mix, but totally disproportionate to your bird's health. Take cheap rapeseed for example, which actually causes liver problems in goldfinches!
