Hand-feeding formula for white-based breeds that should not display reddish, orange, or yellowish colors in their plumage (including recessive white). Does not contain carotenoids or xanthophylls. With high levels of vitamin A.
It is formulated for hand-raising canaries in which we want to avoid 'golden' (feather pigmentation derived from the ingestion of carotenoids and xanthophylls). It simplifies the hand-raising process and ensures excellent chick growth.
Serinus formulas are complete foods. Birds receive all the nutrients they need to develop with optimal health, excellent vigor, and unbeatable plumage quality.
White formulas are foods designed for breeds that, according to established standards, should not display reddish, orange, or yellowish colors in their plumage. They are free from carotenes and xanthophylls and, on the other hand, contain higher levels of other antioxidants and vitamin A.
To prepare the hand-feeding formula, mix the product with warm water at a concentration of 20-25% (texture similar to a shaken yogurt). During the first day of life and especially at the first feeding, it is advised to give it a bit more diluted. It is important to discard the remaining formula after each feeding; it should not be reused for subsequent feedings.
The appropriate amount of formula to feed each chick depends on its crop capacity and demand behavior. Offer small amounts of formula repeatedly into the beak until the chicks are satisfied and stop begging.
During the first days of life, we recommend feeding the cultured milk of white passerines.
Store in a cool, dry place (it is possible to freeze the product in airtight packaging, but it is not recommended to keep it in the refrigerator once opened).
