The measured value is reproduced as a percentage from 0 to 100% (relative humidity). The humidity level in an incubator depends on the type of eggs and the porosity of their shell.

You can use this hygrometer as an indicator and then verify the indicated values by regularly weighing the eggs. An egg should lose 11-13% of its weight throughout the incubation. By calculating how much weight an egg loses per day, you can precisely determine if the humidity in the incubator needs to be adjusted.
