Sprouting seeds for canaries is a mix of high-germination seeds, ideal for canaries and European birds.

Composition:

Turnip seeds, Katjang Idjoe, rapeseed, niger, wild seeds, dari/white sorghum, hemp, extra red sorghum, white lettuce, white millet.

Instructions for use:

To prepare these seeds, it is recommended to soak them for 6 to 12 hours, then rinse and allow them to sprout for 24 to 28 hours, maintaining regular humidity. Once sprouted, the seeds can be given directly to the birds or mixed with other foods.

Take for example cheap rapeseed, which actually causes liver problems in goldfinches! Or the black seed, an oilseed that birds like to eat, but is completely unsuitable due to its high fat content, which causes problems for goldfinches.
