Seed Mix, Grass & Bird Mix:

I made this unique blend because many blends contain seeds that are unnecessary, but also have a detrimental effect on the health of goldfinches. Many mixtures contain seeds, also for the price ratio, which is not good for goldfinches. This way, you end up with a cheaper mix, but totally disproportionate to your bird's health. Take for example cheap rapeseed, which actually causes liver problems in goldfinches! Or the black seed, an oilseed that birds like to eat, but is completely unsuitable due to its high fat content, which causes problems for goldfinches.

Mixing the seeds to germinate.

A unique blend of no less than 41 different seeds. All of these seeds germinate together in at least 24 hours with the right treatment. These seeds are specially sorted which, due to the germination process, provides additional vitamins, protein, and easily digestible fiber, which is very important for young birds because the germinated seed is easier to digest. Adding seeds to your eggs is a huge enrichment for birds and their young. Sprouted seeds also strengthen the immune system.

This mix has been formulated by René Alssema specifically for posture canaries.

Based on his extensive experience with canary seeds, he has designed for us a mix for posture canaries.

This mix contains seeds that René knows canaries will eat all of.

Many unnecessary seeds have been removed and valuable seeds such as Japanese millet and perilla seed have been added.

A small amount of turnip seed is present due to its influence on the development of feather colour.

Sprouting seeds for canaries is a mix of high-germination seeds, ideal for canaries and European birds.

Composition:

Turnip seeds, Katjang Idjoe, rapeseed, niger, wild seeds, dari/white sorghum, hemp, extra red sorghum, white lettuce, white millet.

Instructions for use:

To prepare these seeds, it is recommended to soak them for 6 to 12 hours, then rinse and allow them to sprout for 24 to 28 hours, maintaining regular humidity. Once sprouted, the seeds can be given directly to the birds or mixed with other foods.
