Goldfinch Mix Carduelis Gold Excellent

All the seeds in this mix are prized by goldfinches. So you avoid any waste.  

Light mix for small and large goldfinches.

The diversity of special seeds and the high content of white perilla make this blend unique in its field.

Designed as a food for young age, indicated for manual feeding of granivorous psittacines during the second stage of the neonatal phase (from 5 to 8 days of life until the time when the feather quills emerge). Contains a high percentage of dehydrated whole egg and papaya, which promote digestive transit.

It is recommended to prepare baby food with warm water and a solids concentration of about 25%. It is recommended to administer to the chick using a flexible catheter.

In younger specimens, goiter milk is essential for granivorous psittacines.

As soon as the quills emerge, it is necessary to switch to a growth food adapted to the species to be raised.

The turnipseed is quite similar to rapeseed, with the difference being the more bitter flavour of the latter. Turnipseed is rich in protein and beneficial for enhancing singing, making it particularly interesting during the breeding season for canaries. However, as this seed is quite fatty, we recommend not exceeding 10% of your mix with turnipseed for colour canaries or posture canaries. For song canaries, turnipseed softens the song and can therefore be used at 30% of the mix: in this latter case, we recommend accompanying your bird's diet with liver support.

Clover stimulates the immune system and slows down cellular ageing through its excellent antioxidant properties. Rich in vitamins B, C, E and provitamin A.

I concocted this unique blend because many mixes contain seeds that are unnecessary, but also have a detrimental effect on the health of goldfinches. Many mixes contain seeds, also for value for money, which is not good for goldfinches. This way, you end up with a cheaper mix, but totally disproportionate to your bird's health. Take cheap rapeseed for example, which actually causes liver problems in goldfinches! Or the black seed, an oilseed that birds like to eat, but is totally unsuitable due to its high fat content, which causes problems for goldfinches.
